| New Orleans Jazz Festival, Ascona, Switzerland | 08/02/01 |
| From June 29th - July 8th. we played at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in
Ascona, Switzerland - on the banks of the Lago Maggiore. The whole town was
one big festival with music round the clock. We played at several beautifully located open air stages. Some of the concerts we did together with Terry Evans and Linda Tillery & The Cultural Heritage Choir. Musical director Karl Heinz Ern heard Hans' cd's and wanted to highlight these special combinations. Karl Heinz had another surprise for Hans & Milica: Our "hotelroom" was a very unusual one - we stayed in an old circus caravan that used to belong to Circus Knie; a place with a lot of history - apparently even Charly Chaplin once stayed in this caravan. (One can rent the Knie Caravan at Albergo Lossone).
