Amadeus Award 05/14/04up
© Andreas Tischler At this years Amadeus Music Award Hans Theessink / Songs from the Southland was nominated best album in the Catagorie Jazz / Folk / Blues. Last yeares winner of this prestigious award was Joe Zawinul. Hans himself in the middle of a big tour through western-europe was not able to attand the Celebration. That night he performed on a bluesfestival in danmark with the Holmes Brothers his wife and Manager Milica Theessink took the award proudly and Hans sent greetings (acompanied by his guitar) via a video.

The Amadeus Award is the Austrian equivalent of the "Grammy" or the German "Echo" Award !!!
