On March 25th Albert Lee and his band Hogan's Heroes visited Vienna. Hans was on the "Great Guitars" show too . He opened with a short soloset and was
invited back by the band to join them on "Man of constant sorrow". The Austrian audience especially loved that. It was a great concert - lots of guitarplayers in the audience. In the afternoon both Hans and Albert conducted workshops at the Musik Produktiv music store just outside Vienna. The two guitarists finished with a little session. (--> see pics) |

In Austria "Bridges" has been nominated for an Amadeus in the category "Jazz/Blues/Folk-Album of the year 2004 national". Last year Hans wan the Amadeus for "Songs From The Southland" and we're curious to see what will happen this year. |

Hans & Milica are back from the Danish Music Awards where Hans was nominated with "Bridges" and the trio CD "Going Down Slow". "Bridges" ended second but the trio won the Award with "Going Down Slow" in the category "best bluesalbum". (--> photos)
It was nice to win the DMA, but it was just wonderful that we came just in time for the arrival of our new grandson Jacob. Jacob was born in Esbjerg, Denmark on March 7th at 6 in the morning. (--> photos) |
